How to participate?
The Houston Street Fair and Market provides art, craft, goods and food vendors an opportunity to join this family friendly on the last Saturday of every month.

All art, craft and goods sold at the show must be handmade or home grown by the participating vendor (not just designed), No Exceptions. Vendors are provided a 10’ x 10’ area and should provide their own tables and pop-up tent if needed. Vendors are permitted set up time in advance of the event and must contain their display within the dimension of the space rented. If vendors sell prepackaged foods or conducting samples, they are required to submit a $30.90 health permit fee with their application. On event Saturday’s, there is FREE parking at the St. Mary’s Street Garage located at the corner of Travis and St. Mary’s. Vendors are required to submit a photo of all items that will be sold at the event with a completed application.

Food vendors will be provided an 8’ x 8’ booth and should provide their own tables and pop-up tent if needed. Food vendors must keep all products with rented booth space. Vendors using a bar-b-que pit or grill will be required to rope or barricade area to protect attendees. Food vendors will only be permitted to sell the food items approved by the HSF&M. Food vendors will be required to place plastic or plywood on the ground below the rented booth space. Food vendors should read the rules and regulations completely and attach to a completed application.

If electricity is available, vendor must provide their own heavy-duty extension cords. Food vendor must obtain all permits and meet all standards needed from the Health Department. A $30.90 Health Department Fee must be included with application fee and $20 Food Booth Fee to the Fire Department. See liquid disposal requirements above.

If electricity is requested an available, vendor must provide their own heavy-duty outdoor extension cords. THERE WILL BE NO RAIN DATES OR VENDOR CANCELLATION. If event is cancelled due to weather, a $30 credit will be credited art, craft and goods vendors and $100 credit to food vendor on the very next event ONLY. If vendor does not submit application for following event, credit becomes void.

Vendors are responsible for collecting/paying Texas State Sales Tax as applicable to their product. You can obtain additional information at the State Comptroller’s office by calling 1-800-252-5555 or by going to their web site at www.window.state.tx.us.

Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance due to limited space. Houston Street Fair & Market retains the right to prevent any vendor from participation at the Houston Street Fair & Markets’ sole discretion, unacceptable and/or detrimental to the mission and reputation of the Houston Street.
